APEX CUTTABLE DESIGNS MAILBOXES FILE

I had the honor of getting to work the this file before it was released and I must say it is very versatile and can be used on things other than mailboxes! Yes, I put it on a mailbox in my photo below, only because I needed to  do a box for my porch! What about on a personalized cup with your last initial and your first name or on a cutting board for that last minute gift, a sign for the porch for someone special who just made a first home purchase?  This file can be used for birthday's weddings, anniversary gifts and more. It is well a well designed file.

The Stainless look vinyl used in this project came from Art in Shock vinyl on Amazon. It was perfect for this project, I  tested and loved the vinyl. It had the look and feel of the name brand vinyls and was just as easy to apply using 2 different types transfer tape. I give this vinyl a thumbs up!

Sympathy Card Ideas

We all love to make cards celebrating the happy occasions in our life, birthdays, anniversary's, weddings and baby showers. However,  there comes the time when we have to make the cards that no one ever enjoys making.  I found myself in the position needing a few cards and as a crafter and card maker I felt going out and buying  cards would just be to impersonal for family. After all they get  handmade cards from me on other occasions, why should this be any different? I really wasn't up to the task of designing and creating for the event happening in our family's life but I did it and it gave me time to reflect.  I decided to share the cards on my blog for those needing a quick card who found they just were not up to designing in their time of grief but so they could reflect upon the life shared as they put it together.  I am sharing links to the cards below with each photo in case you ever find need for a quick simple and elegant card. For those in need of these cards Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Sewing Project 30 Minutes or Less

This triangular  project is quick and easy for  the beginner to the experienced seamstress. This can be enlarged to make a Neck pillow or customized for the smallest pooch!

This pillow was sized at an 11.5 inch height and was perfect for my 55lb. pooch Calla.  I used scraps from the Ornaments I made at Christmas.  To make a toy this size you will need 3 pieces of 7x12 inch scraps!
Have a rough pooch? Make it from Denim or canvas! add an empty water bottle for even more fun!

I have been working to set up the live tutorials you have been asking for.  We are not going to have a set time and day for these tutorials at this time. Simply because we all work and play at different times of the day and different days of the week. A lot of us are online at random times as well.  In the near future we will have a set schedule of days and times where specific Design Space ® subjects  will be set. Until then I will give a 5 minute heads up splash screen similar to the announcement you see here. These pop up live sessions will be random times and days so you can ask any question about Design Space® , your craft project and things about your machine. The live videos are recorded and will be posted to YouTube after the session so you can refer back to it. Those who were not able to join us live can also refer back as well. Let's make something beautiful! I will see you live soon!
